January 7, 2018 admin@uaemsf.ae Clubs News Nas Team boat no. “10” crowned as champion of the Dubai Wooden Powerboat Heat 1 that commenced yesterday (Saturday) 06 January 2017 at Dubai International Marine Club under the marine sport season 2017-18 with the participation of 16 elite boats. All was good as the weather was perfect for the race with a theme of #Thank_You_Mohammed_Bin_Zayed in response to the national campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai giving thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The duo “Saeed Obeid Khalifa Al Muhairi and Faleh Khalfan Al Mansoori got the a good strategy that put them on the top spot against the rival boat no. 17 “Raheeb 4” which was led by the duo Abdul Lateef Omani and Jasim Nader Al Rujaib. On the third spot is the boat no. 03 “AL Mushkhas Marine” against the boat no. 04 “Raheeb 1” and battling for the last spot was boat no. 05 “Al Noubi Racing” The awarding was held right after the race in DIMC podium led by the Presence of Mohammad Harib , the CEO & Board Member of DIMC with Mohammed Abdulla Al Shamsi , the Director of Admin Corporate Support in DIMC with Lt. Col Ali Abdullah Naqbi, the Head of Maritime Rescue Department of Dubai Police.
